Historic Brew Con - Manchester

5th & 6th August - 2024

From our opening keynote on prehistoric brewing to our closing keynote looking at the Temperance Movement's continued influence on society, we've put together two tracks of talks from world renowned experts; covering many of the different aspects of brewing's history.

To help ensure that you get to see the talks that interest you the most, without any clashes, we've arranged them into Technical and Social tracks.

Technical

A series of talks that focus more on the academic side of brewing's history. From evidence of prehistoric brewing through to how heritage styles have been kept alive to this day.

Social

The more social side of the past, looking at the people who made the beers, the places they drank them, and the social implications of brewing's history.
